Koakuma
Commissioned kit. Poor gal has been through rough times experimenting with special paints and those darn decals for once in my life were super difficult to work with versus what I am used to working with, so their are some honest flaws in some areas still. Overall, I am glad she is completed almost to my clients original specifications and they are happy with the overall product!
Modifications include:
- The eyes were re-sculpted to specifications
- Skirt is painted in Black 3.0 paint, which is very difficult to apply, but leaves a textured matt finish to the skirt to separate from the vest and stocking textures.
- The books took the longest, Created multiple designs in illustrator and had a local friend of mine print out gold foil decals (since the kit did not come with any). Tried to leave intensional imperfections given books to have wear and tear. I wish I 3d sculpted some to have physical paper lines but was out of budget or skill at the time when the commission was on my table looooong time ago.
- Anything chrome I used Molotow Chrome & brush application.
